What is LOVE

Almost every philosopher and poet in the world must have attempted to answer this question and still not captured its true essence. No one answer is perfect and no one answer is wrong. You could fill pages and pages describing love; and suddenly realize that you have missed something.

Most of the times when we fall in love, we notice that person’s appearance initially. At that time we are at out best to impress each other. And we start accepting each other the way we like to see each other. But gradually with the passage of time we tend to slip into our natural self. And then it leads to situations like “You have changed.” In most of the cases the real self is not what we wanted to see and then begins the contradiction with the person whom you fell in love with and the one with whom you are right now.

The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and not twist them with our own image – otherwise, we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them.

As a dialogue from a very famous Hindi movie goes - “Koi tumse pyar kare, to tum jaise ho usse pyar kare. Tumhe badal ke pyar karne ko pyar nahi sauda kehte hai. Aur sahiba, pyar main sauda nahi hota.
